Services

With over 15 years of experience, I bring depth, steadiness, and compassion to my work with clients. I offer individual therapy for adults, typically ages 25 and up, designed to meet each person’s needs and goals. Sessions are held virtually, allowing you to engage in therapy from wherever you feel most at ease across the state of VA.

Does this sound like you?

  • You feel responsible for other people’s moods and well-being.

  • You read every tone, every facial expression — scanning for signs something’s wrong.

  • You apologize even when you haven’t done anything wrong.

  • You feel anxious when someone’s upset with you — or could be.

  • You often say yes when every part of you wants to say no.

  • You try to fix or smooth things over to keep the peace.

  • You feel safest when you’re needed, but secretly wish you didn’t have to be.

  • You struggle to trust that your needs, feelings, and limits matter too.

  • You worry that if you stop managing everyone else, everything will fall apart.

  • You long to feel close to others without losing yourself in the process.

Struggling with the following?

  • You live with a busy, questioning mind that rarely takes a break.

  • You care deeply — about being good, doing right, and not hurting others.

  • You second-guess yourself constantly, even when nothing’s wrong.

  • You replay interactions, searching for certainty or relief.

  • You feel responsible for things outside your control.

  • You crave inner quiet, but the more you try to “get it right,” the louder things get.

  • You want to feel grounded and at peace in your own mind again

Through our work together, clients often find that they:

  • Begin to notice when they’re leaving themselves to manage others — and learn to pause instead of react.

  • Feel calmer and more grounded, even when someone else is upset.

  • Build the capacity to say no without guilt or shame.

  • Reconnect with their own feelings, needs, and desires — often for the first time in years.

  • Experience relationships that feel mutual, where they no longer have to earn closeness through caretaking.

  • Feel energy and ease return as self-trust replaces chronic tension and worry.

  • Discover that being authentic doesn’t push people away — it brings the right ones closer.

I work with clients to address underlying anxiety, intrusive/obsessive thinking patterns, depression, and attachment trauma from an intensive dynamic therapy framework - an effective form of treatment that weaves together psychodynamic therapy, somatic therapy, and mindfulness - bridging the gap between mind and body.

I help adults struggling to maintain their sense of self in relationships and in their careers, often anxious about weather or not they are capable of balancing their relationships with their own needs and authenticity.

I help my clients release tension, develop a core sense of self, and get off of the eggshells onto solid ground. If you have interest in working together towards your goals, feel free to schedule a complimentary consultation call
